My mom was visiting recently and all through our mother-daughter shopping time I noticed some thing interesting. The majority of the merchants I made a purchase at asked me if I had want to get on their email list. That's very smart.
Nevertheless, just HOW in-which they did this made a big difference within my response. I said NO to almost all of them because they simply didn't ensure it is attractive for me. I am talking about, who DESIRES more junk mail? Therefore if you simply ask me if I had want to be on your mailing list, the answer will often be NO.
But one store in particular got me. First of all, it had been a designer apparel store I loved. Secondly, they did not ask me if I desired to be on the subscriber list. They asked me to become 'VIP Client.'
Say the words 'VIP' if you ask me and my ears improve. I-t of course stands for 'crucial person.' And in general it implies an amount of prestige and benefit. Suddenly I WANTED to-be on that mailing list, particularly when the salesman explained to me it included certain benefits, including early notice on your own purchasing service, new arrivals, and personal trunk shows.
And do you know what? I would have also paid-to participate that - to be viewed as a VIP.
You see, people DESIRE to be a part of something specific like ezine promotion. The example above was free. But do not under-estimate how much your clients or customers will PAY to achieve that, sometimes.
Example: A friend of mine recently shared he pays $15,000.00 a-year to fit in with the President's Club of a local playhouse, despite the fact that he and his wife might attend each show there for just $150.00. Why would a good loyal attendee want to spend 100 times more? Particular therapy like favored seating, valet parking, encourages to VIP characteristics, personal restaurant for members only, marketing using a higher-level of individuals, etc.
Another friend of mine pays for membership at a private club here in La on Sunset Blvd. For several of the exact same factors (but more so, in my opinion, because it impresses his days ; ).
My marketing coach Dan Kennedy taught me there's a section of virtually EVERY customer or client group or industry who will joyfully pay FAR above regular charges for special treatment, position, and convenience.
I call it 'country clubbing' your business. Why be the driving range with an hourly charge when you are able be the elegant six-figure membership club across the street? You can offer both of course, but examine what'll skyrocket your business FASTER, with less deals and higher-quality customers.
An example of this is my personal Platinum Mastermind system, that we launched in 2006 because of overwhelming need for my own coaching. This original best bioresonantie link has a myriad of fine warnings for when to flirt with this idea. This group of 1-5 serious small business owners each pay $15,000.00 a year to possess better usage of me than someone else, and in a small group environment where we meet three times a year at luxurious 4- and 5-star hotels and places.
My Platinums are, primarily, VIPs in my world! And since I keep a little of mystery concerning the group, people seem to want 'in' a lot more. (One-of my members got cornered in the girls room at my last On the web Success Blueprint Workshop by several delegates who demanded to discover how they are able to get into Platinum!)
I share this to not impress you, but to impress upon you that in market (yes, *yours*) there's a percentage of folks who will gladly pay MORE - much more - for an increased level of support or treatment. Clicking image possibly provides suggestions you should tell your mother. Remember, you are maybe not trying to please EVERY one, just the select few who can afford that degree of service.
So now, take a moment or two and con-sider ways to start your own personal 'country club' for the clients and customers. Whether it is a VIP degree of service or a private consumer group that meets a few times a year.
To really get your wheels turning, imagine this... That's a supplementary $100,000.00 this year for YOU, If you're able to get 10 visitors to commit to some sort of pro-gram that is only $10,000.00 a year!.
